Rio is beyond beautiful! She's 15.1 Hands tall. She is by Crush and out of a great mare, Spooky Sister. She’s an Open Level NRHA Futurity finalist! Rio is drop dead gorgeous - she has a ton of flaxen mane and tail! She’s a stout made mare with a lot of bone. She’s sound in every way and requires no special treatment to keep her going. Rio is in no way mare-ish - She’s not dramatic and can live in a herd or by herself without a care in the world. Rio is super sweet and personable, she has excellent ground manners and enjoys attention from her people.
Rio is going to continue her successful future and is ready for her next adventure - she’s ready to go show more in the NRHA or Ranch Classes, you name it, she will do it! She’s an excellent Non Pro horse as well as an Open Level contender, but she’s gentle enough for a green or rookie rider. Rio has credit earning maneuvers - she has a great set of spins, she circles low-headed with a lot of look to her, and she stops HUGE. She is more whoa than go. Rio is very responsive and easy to ride. Shes got a cute jog and a super extended trot. She’s going to do big things in the reining yet or as a ranch rider - she’s shown great potential to go to the bigger ranch shows - she’s won at our local level weekend shows already!
Rio is completely free of vices, she has no holes or “catches”. She’s truly beautiful and can be a phenomenal broodmare for those looking at the reproduction side of things. Rio likes to work but she is also content to be groomed and loves to trail ride! She is used to highway traffic, dogs, small children, etc. Rio stands great and has a lot of patience. She loves to be brushed and is good to clip and bathe. Rio is a wonderful mare with a lifetime ahead of her - Dont miss out on owning this gorgeous mare!
